Quilt for Mom

I made this Bow-tie quilt for my mom's birthday, which was two weeks ago but we just got internet today at our new house! Yay!  So I can finally show it off!   I finished this quilt awhile ago, and now finally get to share it.  It measures 72'' x 72".  The fabric is art gallery solids, Pat Bravo's summerlove (love it) and I mixed in some Robert Kaufman crosshatch ( I forgot the color, I think beige).  I just love the curry color.  Each square measures 6''x 6".
 Here's the back.

I did loopy quilting for the first time, it was a lot of fun.

Here's Taj at the fair on his favorite ride, I think I have a future farmer:)

Happy Birthday Mom, hope you love it!

Zoe's 6th Birthday!

I made my beautiful niece Zoe a cute little peacock feather frock dress from the book Fabric by Fabric One Yard Wonders(borrowed from my mom thanks!).  This dress is super easy and turned out super cute! I got the fabric a yard sale (score!)
We had a little river birthday party at our local river the Van Duzen.

Love those butterfly sleeves!

Zoe got some cute matching boots and belt!

Had to throw in a pic of Taj and his new hair cut!
Thanks for looking~

Happy Birthday Kelly!

I made this super cute bag for my best friend Kelly's birthday a while ago, seems as I have a few items I can't share till certain dates:)  Anyways I got this book Bags--The Modern Classics for my birthday in April and finally made a bag from it.  The directions were very easy to follow and I love how it turned out!

I used Amy Butler Soul blossoms print for the outside and Lizzy House Pearl Bracelet in yellow for the inside.  Hope you love it Kelly!
